Funding opportunities for European cultural projects (2021-2027)

Culture is vital to the EU, offering important economic and social benefits. Culture enhances the quality of life for citizens and promotes the general well-being of both individuals and communities. In other words, a strong cultural sector promotes rights and values, such as freedom of speech, diversity and sparks important conversations about the needs of society.

At Learning Hub Friesland, we work on a number of projects with culture at their heart, such as Story Valley, Culture United, and CULT-Tips.

In order to support the growth of the arts, culture, and creative industries, as well as to open up new international opportunities, markets, and audiences, the Creative Europe Desk Kultur (DE) has published an overview providing a first glance of the new generation of EU funding programmes 2021-2027 that are accessible for the cultural and creative sector. The publication contains insights into Creative Europe as well as into 13 EU funding programmes and their opportunities for culture. You can read more information here.
